For urgent medical issues that are not life-threatening, please contact NHS 111, where trained professionals can advise you on the most appropriate care.
The Online Consult service involves answering a few short questions to help us better understand the nature of your medical concern. Your request will then be carefully reviewed and triaged by a clinician, ensuring that appointments are offered safely and appropriately.
Depending on your clinical need, you may be offered a telephone consultation or invited to attend a face-to-face appointment at the surgery. This process helps us to provide the right care, at the right time, for all our patients.
We’re pleased to announce that from 1st August 2025, Island Health will be launching a new triage appointment system through our Online Consult platform.
There will be two pathways available to help ensure you are directed to the most appropriate care:

Routine or administrative requests – These should be submitted via the Admin Online eConsult option. This new system aims to streamline access to care and improve the way we manage appointments for all our patients. This will be open 8.00am - 18:30pm Monday to Friday and will be responded to in three working days.

We are currently receiving a high number of enquiries regarding weight loss injections.
Please note that this service is not currently offered at our practice.
The responsibility for commissioning and providing this treatment lies with the local Integrated Care Board (ICB).
While recent media coverage has suggested that these injections are available through GP practices, this applies only to a very limited group of patients who meet strict eligibility criteria.
At present, there is no GP-led service available in North East London for this treatment.

Thank you for your understanding.
When the practice is closed, patients are advised to contact NHS 111 for medical assistance with non-life-threatening concerns.
You can access the service by visiting 111.nhs.uk or by calling 111. A trained advisor will assess your needs and either offer guidance or connect you with the GP out-of-hours service, if appropriate. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 999 and ask for the ambulance service.
Conditions such as chest pain or shortness of breath should always be treated as emergencies.
Thank you for helping us ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
At present we are not offering travel immunisations.
We offer home visits for patients who are housebound or frail and unable to attend the surgery. If you believe a home visit is necessary, please contact the practice before 10:00am to make a request.
Your call will be reviewed by our on-call duty doctor, who will assess the clinical need and, if appropriate, arrange a visit later in the day.
To help us provide a safe and efficient service, we kindly ask that home visits are reserved only for those who are genuinely unable to attend the surgery due to medical reasons.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The practice is pleased to offer a dedicated Home Health Service to support the health and wellbeing of our housebound and frail patients.
This service is delivered by a designated Care Coordinator and Healthcare Assistant, who work closely together to provide personalised care in the comfort of patients’ homes.
The Home Health Team offers a range of services, including:
Chronic Disease Reviews
Blood Tests
Administration of Relevant immunisations
Our aim is to ensure that patients who are unable to attend the surgery still receive high-quality, proactive care.
If you are unable to attend an appointment you have booked, we kindly ask that you cancel it as early as possible—ideally at least two hours in advance.
This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in need.
Please note, that repeated failure to attend appointments without cancellation may result in a review of your registration with Island Health, as missed appointments impact the care we are able to provide to all patients.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an efficient and fair service for everyone.
